The home-buyer/real-estate agent relationship is an important relationship. And it's my opinion that relationships that ultimately endure the test of time, are based on a foundation of honesty and trust. During the summer of 2020 my wife and I moved from Fairbanks to Anchorage. For a year we leased a townhouse in West Anchorage. As our lease neared its end, we decided that we liked Anchorage sufficiently enough that we would like to make our relocation long-term. Subsequently, I asked my Fairbanks-based real-estate agent to refer me to an Anchorage-based real-estate agent. Without hesitating she told me to contact Sharon Shaw. She told me that Sharon is an expert in the Anchorage real-estate market. She told me that Sharon is a competent negotiator. She told me that Sharon would work tirelessly on my behalf. But here's the good part; she told me that I would like Sharon. She told me that Sharon is a good person. She told me that Sharon is an honest and trustworthy person. She told me that I could depend on Sharon. At our closing, Sharon told me that our home purchase -- from offer to closing -- was one of the quickest that she's had the privilege to manage.
